PR Judson is an Indian architect and designer, and the founder of Judson Associates Architects & Interiors, Kochi, Kerala.
He is internationally recognised for a drawing ability that appears to be unique in the world: he creates complete, technically accurate architectural sketches upside-down, in a single continuous line, without lifting his pencil or pen even once.
During these live sessions he listens to his clients and integrates their ideas instantly into the design.

No other architect or artist has been publicly documented to perform this combination of abilities—upside-down architectural sketching, real-time client interaction, and continuous-line execution.
Each drawing begins as a spontaneous act of spatial reasoning: Judson mentally rotates the structure in his mind, then renders it in perfect proportion and perspective while drawing from the inverted angle.
This process demands an exceptional level of visuospatial intelligence, motor coordination, memory, and creative focus, making him a one-of-a-kind figure in the global art and design community.
Silver Award – Architecture Madrid Awards 2025
Multiple World Records recognising his continuous-line upside-down drawing technique
Featured in national and international media for live performances and large-scale design projects
PR Judson’s philosophy is that architecture is conversation made visible.
Each line represents an unbroken thread of thought connecting client vision and creative intuition.
By refusing to lift his pencil, he symbolically demonstrates unity—of idea, structure, and imagination.
Through Judson Associates, he has designed churches, bungalows, corporate offices, and institutional buildings across India and the Middle East. His studio continues to explore ways to merge art, neuroscience, and architecture—inviting researchers to study how the human brain can achieve such precision under inversion.
PR Judson’s journey from humble beginnings to international recognition embodies creative perseverance.
He aims to inspire a new generation of artists and architects to think freely, draw intuitively, and trust the innate intelligence of the human mind.
